Fieldhouse Supply Case Study
A full WooCommerce store, from catalogue to labelled sandbox checkout.

Overview
Fieldhouse Supply is an independent portfolio concept: an outdoor and workwear retailer built on WooCommerce, proven end to end — from a filterable catalogue to a clearly-labelled sandbox checkout and a real order in the admin.
Challenge
A convincing store needs product variations, filtering, a working cart and a checkout that is obviously a demonstration — no real transactions — while still exercising the full commerce workflow.
WooCommerce retail catalogue
Solution & Stack
A custom WooCommerce theme with product data managed in the WooCommerce admin — variations, inventory, pricing and imagery — so the catalogue is fully editable.
- WooCommerce
- Custom theme
- Variations
- Filters
- Sandbox checkout

Design & Build
Shoppers browse a filterable catalogue and open real product pages with variation selectors and pricing, then move through a cart to checkout.
Design decisions
- Product-forward catalogue — real imagery and working filters up front so browsing feels like a genuine store, not a demo shell.
- Custom swatch + size-toggle variation UI instead of WooCommerce’s default dropdowns, to cut friction and mistakes on the product page.
- A clearly-labelled sandbox checkout so the entire cart-to-order flow is testable end to end without implying real transactions.

Editor Experience
Checkout is a labelled sandbox — no card details, no charge — and completed orders land in the WooCommerce admin with line items and status, ready to manage.

Outcome & QA
A complete, testable storefront that proves the WooCommerce workflow without processing a real payment.
- Products and variations work end to end.
- Mobile-first catalogue and navigation.
- Sandbox checkout and order workflow.
- Accessible filters, pricing and forms.
